Recently, Forbes released its list of Asia’s Fab 50 Companies (Fab 50) 2018, in which UNIS was included due to its outstanding performance.
The list of Fab 50 is released annually, with strict criteria for selection among the best large listed companies in markets of China, Japan, Australia, India, and so on. With extraordinary performance, 30 Chinese companies were included on this list of 50, 2 over 28 last year.
Since the beginning of 2018, digital technology innovations have vigorously propelled the building of a “Digital China”. The continuous efforts drove robust growth of UNIS in areas such as operation revenue, operating profit, product businesses and R&D investment over the last year. In the first half of 2018, it achieved an operation revenue of 22.444 billion Yuan, a growth of 33% over the previous year; an operation profit of 1.468 billion Yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17%; and steady development of main businesses with a year-on-year growth of 41.33% in the revenue of ICT infrastructure products and digital solutions. Meanwhile, UNIS made constant efforts to expand its investment in R&D to 1.581 billion Yuan in the first half of 2018, an increase of 19.74% year on year. Many companies from UNIS’s different business sectors have made constant breakthroughs in patent innovations, with nearly nine thousand patent applications in total up to now.
UNIS will further leverage its advantages in resources in its main businesses to maintain its leadership in digital solutions in the future.
