On February 5, the inauguration ceremony for the "Domestic FPGA Course-Competition Integrated Laboratory," jointly established by the School of Integrated Circuits and Electronics at Beijing Institute of Technology and Pango Microsystems, was held in Room 301, Teaching Building No. 4, School of Integrated Circuits and Electronics, Beijing Institute of Technology. Attendees included Si Liming, Vice Dean of the School of Integrated Circuits and Electronics; Zhang Yanjun, Vice Dean of the School of Cyber Science and Engineering; Professor Gao Meijing, Deputy Director of the Intelligent Electronic Information Systems Institute; Associate Professor Wang Yong, Deputy Director of Experiments at the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Electrical and Electronic Engineering; Associate Professor Lu Jihua, Deputy Director of Teaching at the same center; Nan Fang and Ma Yue, laboratory instructors responsible for the "Digital Circuits and Systems" course; Dr. Bao Chaowei, Vice President of Pango Microsystems; Du Jie, Industry Market Manager; and Miao Yonglong, General Manager of Xiaoyanjing Technology, an ecosystem partner for higher education institutions.
During the ceremony, Vice Dean Si Liming delivered a speech expressing gratitude to Pango Microsystems for its support in integrated circuit talent cultivation. He expressed his expectation that both parties would continue to strengthen collaboration and engage in deeper cooperation in curriculum development, practical teaching, and research commercialization, jointly building an FPGA talent cultivation system oriented toward industrial needs.
Dr. Bao Chaowei presented the Pango Microsystems University Program strategy, which leverages two major platforms to accelerate program development. The first is the nationally recognized university competition platform comprising the "Integrated Circuit Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition" and the "Embedded System Design Competition," which reaches universities nationwide, selectively supports participating teams, and cultivates students' engineering innovation and practical capabilities. The second is the university-enterprise "Laboratory" platform, which facilitates targeted cooperation to achieve breakthroughs in practical teaching for university course projects and joint technological innovation. In addition, Dr. Bao highlighted Pango Microsystems' latest achievements—the AI inference all-in-one machine and DPU accelerator card—which will deliver distinctive value to university teaching practices and advanced technology research. Going forward, Pango Microsystems will continue to increase resource investment in the university application and technological innovation ecosystem. Leveraging these two platforms, the company aims to promote the in-depth application of domestic FPGA technology in university teaching and innovative practices, thereby supporting the development of the domestic FPGA ecosystem.
Focusing on product lines, Manager Du Jie presented the technological layout and market planning of Pango Microsystems to the attending leaders and faculty members. The company will continue to focus on key areas including high-end FPGAs, multi-core heterogeneous high-performance computing SoPCs, and system modules. Driven by technological innovation, Pango Microsystems will expand its industry application ecosystem horizontally, deepen technology iteration vertically, and continuously enhance its comprehensive solution capabilities in critical sectors such as communications, industrial control, and new energy.
Miao Yonglong from Xiaoyanjing Technology, an ecosystem partner of Pango Microsystems, systematically presented the achievements of the Pango Microsystems higher education ecosystem to the attendees. He stated that the company would continue to enrich teaching and practice platforms to support teaching reform, scientific research, and talent cultivation at universities.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Vice Dean Si Liming and Dr. Bao Chaowei, representing their respective organizations, jointly unveiled the plaque for the "Domestic FPGA Course-Competition Integrated Laboratory" in the presence of all attendees. This marks the first laboratory established by Pango Microsystems in North China. Leveraging the academic strengths of Beijing Institute of Technology and the industrial resources of Pango Microsystems, the laboratory will deepen full-chain collaboration across "teaching, competition, research, and industry." It will provide vital support for cultivating domestic chip talents equipped with innovation capabilities and engineering practice skills, jointly contributing to the high-quality development of China's integrated circuit industry.
