On May 7, the 2026 New Unigroup Group Innovation Summit was grandly held at the Zhongguancun International Innovation Center in Beijing. At this summit, New Unigroup Group (hereinafter referred to as New Unigroup) unequivocally affirmed its commitment to innovation-driven development, aiming to unite efforts across industry, academia, research institutions, government, and finance through an open ecosystem to jointly advance the self-reliance and strength of China's intelligent technology sector.
As the inaugural Innovation Summit hosted by New Unigroup, this event was themed "Intelligent Linkage for Symbiosis · Collaborative Innovation for the Future." Thousands of representatives from government bodies, the industrial sector, investment institutions, and research institutes attended, including six academicians who gathered to discuss new strategies, technologies, and ecosystems for the intelligent technology industry. During the summit, the comprehensive New Unigroup Group product portfolio was officially unveiled, showcasing the Group's full-industry-chain layout and technological innovation achievements for the AI era. The establishment of the Emerging Innovation Alliance (EIA) was formally announced alongside the launch of two industrial funds, and multiple significant strategic cooperation agreements were signed.
Strategic Resolve: Focusing on the Intelligent Technology Industry
At the summit, Li Bin, Chairman of New Unigroup Group, delivered a keynote speech titled "The Era of Innovation," reaffirming the commitment to innovation-driven development and emphasizing the critical importance of breakthrough innovation. With unwavering determination, New Unigroup initiated a comprehensive restructuring: prior to the reorganization in January 2022, liabilities stood at RMB 135.5 billion; through sustained efforts to date, debt has been reduced by 74.2%, rendering the debt crisis entirely a matter of history. Strategic focus has been the core initiative of New Unigroup's reconstruction, involving the decisive divestiture of non-core businesses to concentrate all resources on the intelligent technology industry. The Group is firmly positioned in three pillar sectors—semiconductor chips, ICT communication infrastructure, and AI—and empowers the innovative development of its member companies through three major initiatives: large-scale R&D, large-scale manufacturing, and large-scale market operations. Following this strategic refocusing, New Unigroup's innovation paradigm is defined by "Collaborative Win-Win plus Breakthrough Innovation." The effectiveness of this focus has been validated by market performance: revenue has grown by over 20% year-on-year. In addition to the three existing listed companies, the IPO processes of several core industrial companies are accelerating, fully opening channels for the realization of the Group's overall value.
Technological Strength: Unveiling the Comprehensive New Unigroup Group Portfolio
At this summit, New Unigroup unveiled the "New Unigroup Group Full Portfolio," covering the three major domains of IC, ICT, and AI. Six cutting-edge technological innovations were also released: in AI infrastructure, H3C launched the S80000 Super Node Series; in edge-side AI, UNISOC released the N9 Series Edge-Cloud AI Platform; in commercial aerospace chips, Unigroup Guoxin introduced a one-stop high-reliability integrated circuit solution; in memory architecture, the Advanced Technology Research Institute unveiled the "Zixian" 3D Near-Memory Architecture; in intelligent computing interconnection, LT and GT jointly released a full-stack North-South intelligent computing interconnection solution; and in AI tools, AT Company launched the chip design agent "Ziling." New Unigroup demonstrated its leading domestic and global positions across 36 specialized sub-sectors.
Ecosystem Appeal: Establishing the Emerging Innovation Alliance (EIA)
New Unigroup, together with multiple technology enterprises, research institutions, and investment firms, jointly initiated the Emerging Innovation Alliance (EIA), focusing on six frontier fields: aerospace, life sciences, new energy, quantum computing, new materials, and embodied intelligence. Coinciding with the launch of the EIA, both the EIA Xinxin Technology M&A Restructuring Fund and the EIA Emerging Technology Innovation Venture Capital Fund were established on the same day. During the summit, New Unigroup signed strategic cooperation agreements with Nanjing University, Bank of Beijing, VeriSilicon, and Shenzhen High-Tech Investment respectively. Adopting an open and symbiotic approach to aggregate industrial strengths, New Unigroup is dedicated to building a formidable Chinese force in technological innovation.
