In 2025, the Pango Microsystems University Program achieved remarkable success. Spanning national-level competitions, university partnerships, and industry-education integration, the program incorporated industrial requirements into educational practice and empowered talent development, thereby continuously invigorating the domestic FPGA university ecosystem.

Establishing Innovation Platforms and Advancing Ecosystem Development

  • Pango Microsystems was invited to attend the 1st Domestic FPGA Education Conference, engaging in in-depth exchanges with nearly 100 university faculty members to jointly discuss domestic FPGA curriculum development and ecosystem construction;
  • The 2025 National University Domestic FPGA Industry-Academia-Research Integration Symposium was held to establish an exchange platform for university faculty, demonstrate the robust growth of the domestic FPGA industry, and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of China's integrated circuit industry;

Supporting University Competitions and Facilitating Talent Development

  • Pango Microsystems supported the 9th National College Student Integrated Circuit Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The Pango Microsystems Cup attracted nearly 600 teams, with 39 teams distinguishing themselves in the National Finals, making it one of the most popular tracks in the competition;
  • Pango Microsystems supported the 8th National College Student Embedded Chip and System Design Competition. The Pango Microsystems Cup received registrations from 926 teams, surpassing all other domestic and international FPGA platform tracks to rank first in participation. A total of 155 teams advanced to the National Finals, securing the two highest honors: the Best Creativity Award and the Best Engineering Award;
  • Pango Microsystems supported the 2025 China Graduate Chip Innovation Competition and EDA Elite Challenge. A total of 74 teams participated in the Pango Microsystems track, with 23 teams advancing to the finals and winning the prestigious Elite Cup at the EDA Elite Challenge Finals;
  • In collaboration with the School of Microelectronics at South China University of Technology, Pango Microsystems hosted the 3rd Pango Microsystems Cup On-Campus FPGA Competition, continuously deepening university-enterprise cooperation, accelerating domestic FPGA ecosystem development, and empowering the cultivation of innovative FPGA talent;

Strengthening University Partnerships and Deepening Industry-Education Integration

  • In partnership with key universities including Sun Yat-sen University and Guangdong University of Technology, Pango Microsystems undertook key scientific research projects of Guangdong Province and Shenzhen Municipality, focusing on FPGA-based AI intelligent solutions as well as the research, innovation, and implementation of advanced EDA algorithms;
  • Jointly with the Shenzhen Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics and the HKUST Shenzhen-Hong Kong Collaborative Innovation Research Institute, Pango Microsystems undertook a key scientific research project of Shenzhen Municipality to conduct research on brain-cerebellum coordination technologies for embodied intelligence;
  • Jointly conducted innovation and entrepreneurship teaching courses with the Basic Industrial Training Center of Tsinghua University, planning to integrate domestic FPGA platforms into the development of teaching systems;
  • Collaborated with universities including the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China to develop domestic FPGA curricula, supporting talent cultivation and the upgrading of educational systems in higher education institutions;
  • Co-established the "Domestic FPGA Course-Competition Integration Laboratory" with the School of Integrated Circuits and Electronics at Beijing Institute of Technology and the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Electrical and Electronic Engineering, promoting the deep integration of FPGA education and competitive practice;
  • Partnered with ecosystem partner Xiaoyanjing Technology to jointly support the "Higher Vocational Education Track of the National College Student Integrated Circuit Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition" and the Dongguan University of Technology Integrated Circuit Design and Innovative Application Competition, while jointly launching a remote AI training kit based on Pango Microsystems FPGA chips to further enrich the university ecosystem;

Standing at a new starting point, Pango Microsystems will continue to deepen its university ecosystem development, continuously iterate cooperation models, and expand ecosystem resources, enabling industry-academia-research integration to yield more substantial outcomes and injecting sustained momentum into the innovative development of China's integrated circuit industry.
